sukigroup establishes new group structure and presents new brand identity
sukigroup is strategically realigning itself and introducing a comprehensive group structure to strengthen its position in the international trading environment in the long term. At the heart of this realignment is the clear definition of five independent business units: suki, Vynex, Facido, FTV Asia, and DBM.S.
While Facido and DBM.S will act as specialized service companies for logistics and services, suki, Vynex, and FTV Asia will combine their strengths as trading companies with their own brands, product portfolios, production, and international market orientation. These three companies will11 form the backbone of the group's trading business in the future.
Each of these business units brings its individual strengths, market knowledge, and cultural identity to the group. The sukigroup is thus creating a flexible, but at the same time strongly networked corporate model that focuses on synergies, increased efficiency, and innovative strength in a globally connected environment.
A central element of this transformation is the completely redesigned brand identity of sukigroup. With a modern visual appearance and clear brand architecture, the aim is to strengthen the group's identity and raise awareness among all stakeholders.
“We are delighted to have created a new structure and invested in a new brand identity to strengthen the individual businesses and leverage the power of the group. The new brand identity will enable us to draw on the full potential when dealing with customers, employees, suppliers, and all external partners.” explains Sebastian Laus, Chief Executive Officer, sukigroup.
With this new structure and fresh brand image, sukigroup is underlining its claim to be an internationally active group of companies that develops future-oriented solutions for the retail sector and promotes sustainable growth.
sukigroup is part of the diversified Serafin Group, whose philosophy is based on the 150-year entrepreneurial tradition of the family of shareholders.

Sustainable commitment: sukigroup plants 1,000 trees with Holz.ConZert following successful in-house exhibition sukiexpo 2024
sukigroup is setting an example for sustainability: as part of its in-house exhibition sukiexpo 2024, the company promised to plant ten trees for every visitor. This ambitious goal was achieved – a total of 1,000 trees were financed by visitor participation.
On 7 May 2025, the time had come: in Kell am See, only about 60 kilometres from sukigroup's headquarters, the trees were planted in the drought-damaged areas of the Hunsrück as part of a large-scale planting campaign. The sukigroup was supported by Alain Paul and his company Holz.ConZert, a partner of the BHB (German DIY Association). Under his expert guidance, a 15-strong team from the sukigroup set out to put the sustainability promise into practice.
‘We enjoyed the campaign and it was a great experience to spend a day in nature away from our everyday work,’ said one participant in the group.
‘We have kept our promise,’ says Serge Thömmes, Chief Commercial Officer of suki. ‘And we would like to thank all our customers for their contribution.’ Sebastian Laus, Chief Executive Officer of sukigroup, added, ‘It was a pleasure to implement this together with Alain Paul and to make a small contribution with this donation.’ With the sukiexpo and the tree planting campaign, sukigroup impressively demonstrates how entrepreneurial action and environmental awareness can go hand in hand.
The company would like to thank all its customers for visiting sukiexpo 2024.

sukigroup (suki.international, Facido, DBM.S) acquires the French group VT Fastware (Vynex, Tréfilaction, FTV-Asia).
Both, sukigroup and VTF, are active in the distribution of DIY products (hardware in a wider context, hand tools, self-adhesives and other DIY essentials). The two groups share common values and visions of the challenges and future opportunities in their markets.
“I’m happy to welcome VTF in the growing suki group. The acquisition of VTF is a unique opportunity for the future of the two groups. Together, we will even be better able to serve our customers in differentregions and sales channels”
— Sebastian Laus, CEO of suki group
“The DIY market is becoming increasingly global and more and more complex with new skills to be developed to meet increasing demands. With sukigroup wefound the ideal and fully complementary partner in Europe, geographically and in terms of product ranges, with hardware as a common point. In all other ranges we will be able to take advantage of our individual skills.”
— Hervé Hacot, CEO of VTF
Above all, sukigroup strongly supports the industrial relocation project initiated by Vynex and this should become a major accelerator for the group. Sebastian Laus: “We are excited to become through VTF’s initiative producers of high-quality woodscrews made in Europe’”.
For Vynex, this is a major opportunity to further strengthen its ROCKET® brand, the main brand of technical wood screws for the building and renovation industry in France. This prospect of international sales development will help to consolidate the industrial relocation plan in France and consequently to increase the volumes produced in the Ardennes through growth. Herve Hacot: “Together, we are eagerto distribute ROCKET® through suki’s European wide structures andsubsidiaries.”
Additionally, sukigroup business units Facido (multichannel provider for many innovative DIY manufacturers of decoration, flooring and sanitary ranges) as well as DBM.S (Merchandising organisation in many European countries) will deliver further synergies and opportunities.
Finally, VTF's packing centres in China and Vietnam will of course offer their services to sukigroup; more generally, a sharing of suppliers in Asia will allow to improve the management of the supply chain of both groups. For obvious reasons of complementarity, all existing activities and sites of VTF and sukigroup will be preserved; no reduction or contraction of activities is envisaged. sukigroup and VTF wish to further strengthen their development and innovation resources. “The grouping of our companies will enable us to pool and extend our efforts in marketing and purchasing.” says Sebastian Laus.
The management team of VTF will remain in place in its entirety and work jointly together with the suki group board; Hervé Hacot will remain CEO of Vynex and Tréfilaction, Sebastian Laus is the CEO of the enlarged sukigroup.
